R. Lee Jennings graduated from Berry College with a B.S. in Business/ Accounting. He has over 20 years experience working with individuals, business start-ups, and small to large companies.  Mr. Jennings was both an Audit and Tax Manager with several local CPA firms and was the Cost Accounting Manager and a controller for several public and closely held corporations. He served 10 years in the United States Army Reserve as a communications and electronics officer.  He has been a member of the Board of Directors for several local not-for-profit organizations. 

 His computer background is both extensive and long standing, including civilian and military training in the areas of communication networks. Currently, Land & Associates is a Peachtree Accounting Partner and a QuickBooks Certified Professional Advisor. He is a frequent speaker across the North Georgia Area at professional seminars, he shares his time to help increase the understanding of technology relating to the small to midsize business and how to best utilize software applications to increase productivity in the office environment. 

Lee is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Rome Rotary Club, and other organizations. He is currently the President of the Educational Foundation of the GSCPA. He is a past president and director of the Rome Chapter. In his off time he enjoys riding his Harley and camping. A long time resident of the Rome area, he and his wife and family live in the Armuchee area.

Edgar M. Land, CPA, Partner

Edgar M. Land graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in accounting. Mr. Land began working in the Atlanta metropolitan area in public accounting until late 1974 when he moved to Ellijay and began Land & Associates. He has over 34 years experience in external and internal banking audits, not-for-profit, governmental audits, financial and compliance audits, as well as preparation of corporate and individual taxes.

He has served as a member of the Governmental Accounting Committee of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been awarded the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning. He is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce, the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce, the Murray County Chamber of Commerce, and the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce.

Mona H. Evans graduated from Berry College with a B.S. in Accounting. She has experience in internal and external auditing, governmental and not-for-profit financial and compliance auditing, and construction industry, as well as preparation of corporate and individual taxes.

She is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Pickens County Chamber of Commerce.

  Thom Gelarden graduated form High Point College and Wake Forest University with an MBA. He has served in numerous positions during his career including Senior Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand, Principal at Arthur Young & Company, Director of Marketing at Hyatt, Imler, Ott and Blount, Senior Outpatient Operations Manager 3M HIS Consulting and most recently President of The Gelarden Group.
